The KERN OBN 147 and 148 is based on the basic model KERN OBN 132. It is an excellent and stable laboratory microscope for all common routine applications in light and fluorescence microscopy which provides excellent images. These trinocular microscopes are equipped as standard with wide-field eyepieces with a large field of view, bilateral diopter compensation and infinitely corrected plan achromatic objectives. Depending on the model, either blue / green or blue / green / UV / V fluorescence filters, as well as a centering lens for fluorescent lighting are included. The professional Köhler lighting is easy to set. It contains an adjustable field diaphragm and a centering and height-adjustable Abbe condenser with adjustable aperture diaphragm. As a result, excellent images are visible even in bright and in the dark field. A revolver for up to 5 lenses and a large stage are also included as standard. The following optional accessories are available: different eyepieces, lenses, a complete polarization kit, a condenser with a tilt-out lens and a set for phase-contrast microscopy. A central feature of this highly variable and at the same time robust fluorescence microscope series is the stable and precisely adjustable mechanism. This is underlined by the functional and ergonomic design
