Polaris C18-A is designed for high-throughput and LC/MS analysis of polar compounds in research and development, especially for new drug discovery, drug metabolism, etc. The functional groups of Polaris C18-A are combined with polar groups located near the silica surface. These polar groups have two functions: First, they improve the retention mechanism of polar substances. Second, the polar groups 'deactivate' the few remaining silanols by charge displacement, thereby improving the peak shape.
