Tosoh Bioscience offers a comprehensive range of HPLC columns, which are mainly used for the separation of biomolecules. The columns packed with the proprietary bulk material, known under the brand name "TSKgel™", are specifically designed for the analysis of proteins, peptides, biopolymers and low molecular weight compounds. The "TSKgel" SW columns in particular are today the industry standard for size exclusion chromatography (SEC) of proteins. Tosoh also offers users columns that are ideally suited for other applications such as reversed phase, normal phase, ion exchange and affinity chromatography.
Besides TSKgel, "TOYOPEARL™" is also a well-known bulk material made by Tosoh Bioscience. This material is particularly suitable for pre-preparative and semi-preparative liquid chromatography and is also available as pre-packed Minichrom® columns and Robocolumns®. "TOYOSCREEN™" HPLC columns contain TOYOPEARL material as well.
