Microbiological media are used to detect microorganisms on surfaces and in sample material. By choosing the right culture medium, micro-organisms can be specifically analyzed and differentiated further. The different ingredients, incubation temperatures and incubation times of the different culture media thus enable the respective growth optimum in order to achieve accurate, reproducible results.
