Filter Papers

Filter papers can be used in the laboratory to separate solid particles from liquids and gases. The absorbent, porous fibre fleeces are made of natural and synthetic, organic and inorganic fibres. Some are chemically treated or impregnated with synthetic resins to obtain specific properties. Ash-free paper filters for quantitative analyses and qualitative filter papers with an ash content of approx. < 0.1% are available.
