Measuring beakers are valuable aids in everyday laboratory use due to their versatility. Unlike measuring beakers, beakers do not contain a scale and are used for mixing different liquids. Important features for use in the laboratory include chemical and high-temperature resistance to ensure accurate and safe work.
Analytics-Shop offers graduated jugs made out of glass (Duran) or synthetics like PP, PMP or SAN by Vitlab and Brand. Additionally there are also beakers and measurement beakers made of high quality 18/10 steel available of Bochem.

Otto Schott's invention of Duran laboratory glassware made it possible to reach chemical frontiers that were previously unattainable. Its special composition achieves minimum thermal expansion and maximum temperature and thermal shock resistance. At the same time, Duran glass is characterised by the highest possible chemical resistance to many solid and liquid chemicals, making it ideal for everyday use in the laboratory.
Product features include:
Measuring volumes is routine work in every chemical laboratory. This makes it all the more important to ensure the long-term quality of the necessary instruments, from volumetric flasks to stoppers.
Duran® volumetric glassware is characterized by the same product features as all Duran® laboratory glassware: it is extremely thermally resilient, virtually inert and highly resistant to thermal shock. Thanks to their excellent corrosion protection, they are also very economical. Duran® volumetric glassware thus minimizes undesirable influences and ensures consistently high precision with every measurement.
Duran's Super Duty beakers are characterized by their significantly increased mechanical and thermal stability. This is ensured by thicker wall thicknesses while maintaining uniformity. The beakers are made of type 1 glass (neutral glass according to USP, EP and JP). An easily legible and durable scale is also printed on the glass.
The selection of raw materials and the production of borosilicate glass follow to strict specifications. Exclusive production at the company's own sites also guarantees the consistently high quality of Duran® laboratory glassware, from glass melting to final adjustments. This ensures the highest possible precision for every volume measurement.
Whether you are measuring liquid quantities, diluting or mixing various components: Duran® volumetric products, such as volumetric flasks and measuring and mixing cylinders, cover all applications and ensure consistent, high-quality results in volume measurement processes.
Duran's beakers feature an easily readable scale and a marking field made of durable white ceramic. These products are also available with a spout for clean, loss-free decanting. Their uniform wall thickness enables them to be heated to high temperatures, making them ideal for applications at higher temperatures. Duran beakers are available in both high and low designs.

Graduated jugs of Vitlab are manufactured out of SAN (Styrol-Acrylnitrile) and PP (Polypropylene), whereas griffin beakers are made out of PMP (Polymethylpentene) and PFA. Within each product line there are different variantes available, printed scale, raised scale and printed raised scale. The scale of all measurement beakers and griffin beakers accords to ISO 7056. When cleaning products with printed scale it is recommended not to exceed a maximum temperature of 60 °C to protect the printing. Not printed scales of measurement beakers, as well as of griffin beakers can be autoclaved at 121 °C (2bar) according DIN EN 285 indipendent from the material used.
Brand offers graduated jugs made out of synthetics like PP (Polypropylene) and PMP (Polymethylpentene). Printed scales of each measurement beaker are blue coloured. To protect the printing it is recommended not to exceed a maximum temperature of 60 °C for cleaning. Optionally the measurement beakers have ergonomic handle and/or a functional spout. Furthermore there are configurations available with low construction form (n.F.).
All products of Bochem available at Analytics-Shop are manufactured of high quality 18/10 steel. The volume ranges from 100 ml to 5000 ml. Thereby beakers as well as graduated jugs are obtainable. The product range is divided into four types, beakers with rim (typ 1), beakers with rim and spout (typ 2), beakers with rim and handle (typ 3) and beakers with rim, sout and handle (type 4). The volumes available for all four types are 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, 1000 ml, 2000 ml, 3000 ml and 5000 ml. The dimensions of each beakers volume are identical for all four types.
Use the navigation bar on the left to filter by the volume, height and diameter of your desired beaker type and find the ideal Bochem measuring cup.
