Cellulosic acetate membrane filters have improved solvent resistance, especially over low molecular weight alcohols and increased heat resistance. Due to their high physical strength these membrane filters can be used at up to 180 ° C and are suitable for hot gases. They can be sterilized with all procedures, without losing the membrane integrity.
