Capillaries and Tubes

We offer capillaries and tubes by Agilent Technologies, Grace, Optimize, Restek and Vici Jour. PEEK (PolyEtherEtherKeton) tubes are chemically inert and are thus ideal for biological substances. Together with the right ferrules and connectors, they make up a complete system. PEEK capillaries are resistant to presures up to 600 bar and resistant to temperatures up to 250°C.

We recommend the use of PEEK capillaries or corresponding stainless steel capillaries (1/16“ AD x 0,010“ ID).

The choice of material depends on the properties of the mobile phase:

  • PEEK: not compatible with tetrahydrofuran, chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong acids.
  • Edelstahl: Not suitable for high salt concentrations and concentrated acids.
