Compatible with typical flow rate analytical columns up to 4,500 psi and 5 ml/minute. Also used as a union to connect tubing, but with a filter. Not recommended for use with UHPLC pressure ranges.

The universal connections (fits all standard HPLC threads and pilot lengths) can be installed with a wrench or hand tightened.

When these filters are in use, and pressure starts to rise, simply disconnect (after pressure in the column is at atmospheric), dispose of and replace with a suggested, new 0.188 inch, 0.5 um stainless steel, PEEK or Titanium PEEK-encased filter; sold separately but any filter that is 1/4 inch OD and 1/16th inch thick should work.
