Roc HPLC columns are designed to be basic equipment for your LC lab. These solid, reliable columns are suitable for all HPLC systems with nominal pressures up to 400 bar and provide the peak shape, reproducibility, robustness and performance you need for all your normal HPLC applications. Roc columns offer exceptional value and are suitable for routine analysis and high-volume workflows.
Ideal for a wide range of applications, from food to pharmaceuticals. 5 phases cover 98% of USP methods.
Restek Cyano columns use a traditional monomeric cyanopropylsilane recommended for assays where alternative selectivity or confirmation to a C18 or C8 column is desired. They can be used in normal phase, reversed phase (preferably with mobile phase pH between 5 and 7), and HILIC modes. This column is excellent for the analysis of protonated bases.
Stationary phase category: Cyano (L10)
Ligand type: Cyanopropyl
Particle size: 3 µm or 5 µm, spherical
Pore size: 100 Å
Carbon loading: 8
Endcapping: yes
Surface area: 300 m2/g
pH range: 2.5 to 8.0
Maximum temperature: 80 °C
Note: We strongly recommend that you only order a semi-preparative or preparative column once you have evaluated the desired separation on an equivalent column on an analytical scale.
Because we cannot reuse a column or the silica within it once it leaves our facility, we cannot accept returns of large columns.
