All M-Class columns are designed for an operating pressure of 15 kpsi (1,000 bar) and tolerate pressure fluctuations during injection very well. The ACQUITY UPLC M-Class Protein BEH C4 column series incorporates Waters' patented BEH technology with 300 Å pore, C4, 1.7 µm particles suitable for characterization and identification of larger proteins. BEH technology offers the highest retentivity for basic compounds, excellent peak shape in high pH mobile phases and is suitable for separations up to 80 °C. BEH is the universal column of choice for a wide range of compounds.
Each batch is specifically tested with a carefully selected protein standard mixture to ensure consistent performance and longer analytical column life.
