Description
CORTECS phenyl columns offer complementary selectivity to C18 stationary phases. The particle morphology offers high efficiency and lower back pressures compared to fully porous particles of similar size. CORTECS Phenyl offers extremely low column MS bleed, long column life and excellent peak shape.
This CORTECS Phenyl column from Waters has a length of 100 mm and an inner diameter of 2.1 mm with a particle size of 1.6 µm.
CORTECS columns are available as reversed-phase and HILIC options for seven column materials with different particle properties and innovative charged surface modifications. Compared to columns with fully porous particles, they enable 20 % faster separations and 25 % higher resolution at low operating pressures.
