Biotech DEGASi® for instrumental analysis and general chromatography

With the highly permeable Systec AF™ membrane, an internal degassing chamber volume of only 480 μl is sufficient to achieve excellent degassing efficiency up to flow rates of about 3 ml/min. The time the liquid spends in the vacuum chamber correlates with the degassing efficiency, so the degassing efficiency decreases at higher flow rates. In many cases, the 480 μl vacuum chamber can be used at 5 ml/min with sufficient degassing.

Biotech DEGASi® PLUS GPC

DEGASi® PLUS GPC is the right degasser if you are working with 100% organic solvents. These degassers are mainly used in GPC and normal phase chromatography. DEGASi® GPC uses the same 480 μl Systec AF™ degassing membrane as DEGASi® Classic. The main difference from DEGASi® Classic is that DEGASi® GPC uses a stent-equipped version of the vacuum chamber. The stent is a short piece of stainless steel tubing that is inserted into the ends of the degassing membrane to provide a better grip for the inner ferrule in the partition. This solution provides an even more secure internal connection when working with 100% organic solvents.
