The Colilert 18 test kit from IDEXX is used for the detection and quantification of coliforms or E. coli in drinking water and spring water. The 24-hour test is easy to handle as it does not require any preparation steps due to its individual packaging. Furthermore it convinces with a long shelf life of up to one year.
The water test Enterolert quantifies and detects enterococci within 24 hours of application. It does not require the preparation of nutrient media or autoclaves and delivers accurate results within a day - this can be done quickly in the laboratory and in the public after contamination.
The Readycult Coliforme from Merck enables detection of coliforms and E.coli in water samples. In contrast to the products of the manufacturer IDEXX, only a sterile beaker and a UV lamp are required. The Water Test Kit Readycult 100 includes ready-to-use media in a blister pack for easy handling with results after 24 hours incubation time.
