Test tubes
Test tubes, also known as sample tubes or culture tubes, are open at the top and have a rounded, flat or conical bottom. The lab glass ware products with long, narrow necks are used to hold, mix, or heat small quantities of solid or liquid chemicals. We offer test tubes in various lengths and widths. Some test tubes can be used with ground glass stoppers or screw caps.
Duran Boiling Flasks: Test Tubes and Culture Tubes
Duran test tubes are thick-walled and therefore mechanically very resistant. Another advantage is that these test tubes still retain good thermal shock resistance.
DURAN® test tubes with DIN thread are also known as culture tubes. These culture tubes can be tightly closed using PBT screw caps. Hence, the tubes are particularly suited to the cultivation of micro-organisms or substance storage, etc. The contents only come into contact with the glass and PTFE seal.
Eppendorf Safe-Lock-Tubes
Due to the safe-lock-lid of all Eppendorf safe-lock tubes an unwanted spring open can be prevented. The tubes are made from polypropylen (PP), which is especially characterized by high reliability against chemicals, mechanical stress and temperature extremes. The manufacturing is managed without mold release agents, plasticizers and biozide substances, which can contaminate your samples. Nevertheless quality of Eppendorf safe-lock tubes is unique in this product field. That´s why safe-lock tubes of Eppendorf are one of the most important equipment in every modern chemical and pharmaceutical laboratory.
Tubes are available in dimensiones of 0.5 ml, 1.5 ml and 2.0 ml with yellow, red, blue, green or ambra colour or colourless.
Centrifuge and Cyro Tubes of Nunc Thermo Scientific and Nalgene Thermo Scientific
Centrifuge Tubes
Centrifuge tubes on the one hand have to be stabil for high-speed centrifugation, on the other hand resistent versus agressive chemicals. Exactly these properties are provided by centrifuge tubes of Nunc Thermo Scientific. Naturally caps are included in every order. The materials used for production are PTFE FEP, PS and PC. Please consider the specific reliability of each tube polymer aganist acids, basics and solvents.
Cryo Tubes
Cryo tubes of Nunc Thermo scientific are especially suited for storing in liquid nitrogen. There are both inner thread and outer thread cryo tubes available. The material all cryo tubes of Nunc Thermo Scientific are made from is chemical resistant and extremly reliable PP. Additionally there are also sterile tubes available at the analytics-shop.com for biological and pharmaceutical appplications.
Vitlab Sample Vials
The Vials of Vitlab are produced from PE (polyethylene) or PP (Polypropylene) with a conical shape. The version from PP have a separate cap, whereas the version from PE has an attached cap. Both sample vials´ cap is made from LDPE (low density polyethylene).
