For measuring methods in the wavelength range of visible light, i.e. the photometry, high quality products are a must to achieve the best possible test results. For these so-called "transmission measurements" the concentrations of color solutions are determined by using the visible light - this is done in cuvettes.

Therefore cuvette tests are analytical methods with which chemical parameteres of solutions are determined by photometry. Very popular are disposable cuvettes (one use only) which already contain the required solutions in the right amount. Thanks to their simple handling they are often used, particularly in water analysis:
