The space-saving canister is made of electrically conductive HDPE especially for use in explosion-proof areas. The canister has a high electrical conductivity with a specific surface resistance of <105 ohms. When correctly grounded, it avoids the risk of ignition due to electrostatic charging. The canister therefore meets the requirements of the ATEX 137, TRBS2153 and CENELEC 50404 guidelines The plastic industrial canister does not rust and can be easily disposed of via the recycling system. It can be used for filling and storing flammable and highly flammable liquids of explosion groups IIA, IIB and IIC, such as laboratory waste, in the industrial sector or in mining. Due to its narrow width of 6.5 cm or 12.5 cm, the space-saving canister is particularly space-saving and is suitable for use in confined spaces. The ribbing and thick walls make it very stable and also allow it to be stored lying down. The handle ensures safe handling and easy transport. In the version with a 3/4" threaded connector, a drain cock can be installed, e.g. the StopCock PA drain cock, electrically conductive.
