Glass fibre filters, 100% borosilicate glass, binder free. Their extremely fine fibres make them ideal for microfiltration. Another major advantage of glass fibre filters is that they absorb the finest particles from 1.0 to 2.7 μm from liquids. The large surface area ensures an exceptionally high absorption capacity. Excellent for use as a pre-filter as they are non-hygroscopic and biologically inert. Even aerosols are removed. High chemical resistance to many solutions (except hydrofluoric acid). High temperature resistance up to max. 500°C. Pore size: 1.6 µm. Weight: 52 g/m². Thickness: 0.26 mm. Herzberg filtration rate: 60 s.
