Glass columns and kits for low pressure flash chromatography. Suitable for the separation of connections up to the gram scale. These columns are usually filled to a height of approx. 15 cm, the working pressure is 1.5 to 2 bar. The most commonly used sorbent is Kieselgel 60 with a particle size of 40-63 μm, but you can also use other products from our range of LC sorbents as well as our POLYGOPREP silica gels. Particle sizes <25 μm should only be used with very low-viscosity mobile phases, because otherwise the flow rates are very low. These columns should be packed by the user. Flash chromatography glass columns complete with adapter and PTFE tap, equipped with a polyethylene net to protect against bursting.
