Sterile Filtration
Air & Gas Filtration
Midisart® and Minisart® HY for air & gas filtration. For sterilization and separation of particles from air and other gases, filtration with PTFE membranes is the optimal solution. Applications are the sterile aeration of containers, fermenters and tube systems in medical equipment. The 100 % hydrophobic membrane ensures that the entire filtration surface is available during filtration. Minisarts® can be used bi-directionally for air & gas filtration.
Filtration of Liquids
Minisart® syringe filters are the ideal solution for sterilizing liquids. They reliably separate all microorganisms and particles - without adsorption-induced influence on the actual contents of the liquid. With pharmaceutical products, it is crucial that they are not only sterile, but also free of dead microorganisms, as these can release pyrogens. Our Minisarts® offer high flow rates with low adsorption.
Prefiltration and Depth Filtration
Pre-filtration and depth filtration with the aid of syringe attachment filters, glass fibre pre-filters, depth and membrane filters in various materials. The pre-filters are suitable for the separation of particles and larger micro-organisms such as yeasts and moulds. Sartorius offers solutions for prefiltration and depth filtration in many different pore sizes. Protect your depth filters by using pre-filters in clarification and sterile filtration.
