Description
Natriumsalz der schwefeligen Säure. Natriumsulfit (Na2SO3) ist ein weißer bis gelblicher Feststoff. Es handelt es sich um technische Ware. Wasserfreies Natriumsulfit wird in der Industrie, unter anderem als Reduktionsmittel bei der Herstellung von Papier und Zellstoff verwendet. Außerdem wird es als Konservierungsmittel und Antioxidans in der Lebensmittelindustrie verwendet sowie als Desinfektionsmittel in der Wasseraufbereitung.
