ACQUITY UPLC M-Class columns are designed for optimal performance in nano- to micro-scale liquid chromatographic separations for biomarker identification, protein and peptide identification and characterization. All M-Class columns are designed for an operating pressure of 15 kpsi (1000 bar) and can withstand pressure fluctuations during injection very well.
The ACQUITY UPLC M-Class column contains Waters HSS technology particles with 100 Å pores, T3, 1.8 µm. The mechanically tolerant High Strength Silica (HSS) particle technology was developed to complement Waters Hybrid Particle Technology (BEH and CSH). HSS enables silica-based LC separations under UPLC conditions.
This version of the Waters column has an inner diameter of 150 mm and a length of 100 mm with a particle size of 1.8 µm.
