Spherisorb C8 columns are universal silica-based reversed phase columns containing an octyl ligand. These USP L7 columns are used when a less retentive sorbent is required compared to Spherisorb ODS columns.

Due to a wide range of particle sizes (3, 5 and 10 µm) and high-quality bonded phases for different separation selectivities, the column is recommended in analytical and preparative chromatography.

This version of the Spherisorb C8 column has an inner diameter of 19 mm, a length of 250 mm and a particle size of 10.0 µm.
