Sunniest Biphenyl was subjected to high-temperature end-capping and was almost unaffected by residual silanol groups, but the hydrogen-bonding value was 1.77, showing high hydrogen-bonding. This is a characteristic of Biphenyl, and it is thought that it has a large hydrogen bond property due to the bonding of two benzene rings.
